 Jimmy Donaldson, born May 7, 1998, better known by his name, MrBeast. MrBeast is an American YouTube star, entrepreneur and charitable philanthropist. 6 He is credited for creating the YouTube video genre that focuses on extreme stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson began posting videos to YouTube in 2012, at 13 years old under the handle "MrBeast6000" His early content included everything from "Let's Plays to "videos estimating the wealth of other YouTubers." Following the 2017 "Counting to 100,000" video received tens and thousands of views within a couple of days, he became a YouTube sensation. His early content included Let's Plays and videos which estimated the wealth of other YouTubers. After his channel exploded, Donaldson hired several of his former classmates to assist him in running the growing business. In 2022, the MrBeast team consisted of 60 people.Donaldson's main YouTube channel, which had 100 million subscribers on July 28, 2022, is called "MrBeast".
